Listed Building Consent

Protecting character, enabling change

Listed Building Consent

Listed buildings are properties recognised for their special architectural or historic interest. If you are planning alterations, extensions, repairs or changes to a listed building, you may need listed building consent as well as planning permission. This can include internal alterations, external changes, extensions, repairs and, in some cases, works to structures within the grounds or curtilage of the property.

At JL Planning, we can review your proposal, advise whether consent is likely to be required, identify key heritage considerations, coordinate specialist input where needed, and prepare and manage the necessary applications to help you progress your project with confidence.
